Models & Tools: Questions for Testimonials 🧾

Before jumping it, take a moment to reflect on :

  • What is this testimonial’s purpose? Showcase your skills, added value, etc…
  • If you put yourself in the shoes of your lead, what are the 3 main things you need to hear in order to get interested in being coached by you?
  • How those 3 things need to be presented so that it’s impacting you the most?

Here are examples of questions to ask your client when you want a testimonial.

1. What was the challenge you met before the coaching program? What were the consequences on you or others?

2. What results do you get/have you gotten from coaching with me? Short term, Long term

3. What exactly did you like most about your coaching program?

4. What would you say to someone who might be hesitating?

5. What was your main concern that would have prevented you from starting a coaching program, and what put your fears to rest?

6. If you were to recommend my coaching services to your best friend, what would you say?

7. What made you choose coaching with me over anything else you could have done?

8. What are three benefits you’ve experienced as a result of your coaching program?

9. What is life like now that you’ve experienced or finished your coaching program? What have you learnt? What have you changed? What are the benefits?

10. What surprised you the most or made you the happiest about coaching with me?
